We are having a natural birth at home in the next week. My wife and I have written a new blog for Fathers … and mothers, to be. We would love for you to check it out, and share if you choose.

Again, thanks for the info on the proper way to go about cutting the cord. We look forward to implementing your advice. Thanks

Love and Gratitude!

Comment on Hypnobirthing Techniques- 5 Easy Steps to Create a Positive State of Mind During Pregnancy & Natural Childbirth by Lorraine https://www.mynaturalchildbirth.com/5-hypnobirthing-techniques/#comment-397 Sun, 03 Nov 2013 03:48:22 +0000 http://mynaturalchildbirth.org/?p=3367#comment-397 Hi. This is my first pregnancy and I have been looking into a lot of different options. Hypnobirthing seems to work for many, many women but I have a hard time keeping negative thoughts out. How would you suggest I go about this problem? Also, I work a lot and barely have time to myself do you have to be in a quiet place to create your bubble of peace? And is there a certain length of time you need to fully create your bubble?

I was wondering at what point did she know to ask her partner to get in the tub with her for him to prepare to catch the baby?

Comment on Natural Childbirth: 7 Simple Secrets to Eliminate Labor Pain by Esther Croft https://www.mynaturalchildbirth.com/natural-childbirth-eliminate-labor-pain/#comment-385 Tue, 08 Oct 2013 04:52:25 +0000 http://mynaturalchildbirth.org/?p=3471#comment-385 Couldn’t have put it better myself, my son is nearly 3 weeks old and his birth wasn’t painful at any stage – some intense sensations but it was always completely manageable. The 8th secret I would add is choose your support people and environment carefully so that you always feel safe and supported and know that your interests are being advocated for when you are staying focused on the birth. Great article. Thanks.

Comment on 5 Great Ways to Use a Birthing Ball For an Easier Childbirth by Michelle https://www.mynaturalchildbirth.com/birthing-ball-for-easy-birth/#comment-375 Fri, 02 Aug 2013 00:31:21 +0000 http://mynaturalchildbirth.org/?p=3708#comment-375 Luckily we had a great doula with us durring my labor and she was able to walk us through lots of motions on the ball. I am glad I didn’t deflat my ball after our son was born! He had severe colic and the only thing that would calm him was me GENTLY bouncing on the ball with him in my arms.

Comment on How to Make Your Vag Stretchy so that You Won’t Tear During Natural Childbirth by Alli https://www.mynaturalchildbirth.com/prevent-tearing/#comment-373 Mon, 22 Jul 2013 02:07:51 +0000 http://mynaturalchildbirth.org/?p=3595#comment-373 Wow! I really wanted to try this with my first but was too shy to seriously ask my husband to do the massage. I am expecting number two and having had a second degree tear requiring a LOT of stitches and a LONG time to recover (could still feel the pain at one year pp). I am definitely going to not just ask but demand this massage! Lol and to be honest DH was so awesome with childbirth and we are so much closer now, I don’t expect any resistance 🙂 Thanks for the info and telling of your experience!
